[Tom and Clay - Episode 1]

Not real good, not real bad.

What was good:
About half of the humor.
I kinda liked Tom. For some reason. I think it was his mouth
The credits.

What was not good:
About half of the humor.
Clay. Clay is wayyyyy to stereotypical. Loosen him up a bit, maybe? I mean Tom is sterotypical too, but the irritable short guy gets old way faster than the big stupid lummox.
The pace. Turtle.

I'm sure if you polish this up a bit, episode 2 will be a lot better.

Haha, I guess people like big bumbling oafs better than annoying assholes. Heh, I really like Tom's mouth too. Best feature, IMO. Clay's throbbing eye is pretty cool too, you know.

The writing is admittedly weak. Don't worry, next time around it'll be much better. So will the animation. The pace will be faster as well.

Glad you liked the credits. Always wanted an excuse to sneak Led Zeppelin into one of my flashes.

Not bad.

I don't think this'll get blammed dude. So good job there. You're right, this isn't front page stuff, but just think about this: Next time you make a movie, there'll be a little bar at the bottom of the screen saying, "Other submissions by Lee Booyet." You'll be so proud to be a multi-movie author. And hey, you're only 13, so I'm sure you'll be awesome at this in a few years.

Pretty good.

I realize that most of the reviews of this movie are real long and well-worded, but I just wanted tosay that as a Bush supporter, or at very least a conservative, I appreciate this movie. I probably don't agree with many of your political views, but I like your method of presentation. I can't stand Michael Moore. All he does is preach half-thruths as fact, but your movie makes only claims from what is obvious to anyone with half a brain. Keep up the good work.

I happen to like Michael Moore, but mainly because he gives the right a taste of their own medicine. In that case, he's one filmmaker against all of Fox "News" and their ilk. I think it's a fair touché.

As for your half brain comment, that's what I feel about my work too. But judging from the current sociopolitical climate and the responses from the average "man on the street," it would appear that a surprising number of Americans are operating with less than half a brain...

Good stuff.

It's not a particularly good movie, except for the singing. I enjoy it when the author of a flash makes his own music to fit the movie. PEOPLE HERE NEED TO QUIT PUTTING STUPID GODSMACK SONGS IN THEIR MOVIES!

Nope.

One of the biggest problems with your movie was plot. I don't care how bad the animation in a movie is, as long as the plot keeps me interested. Yours blew. I'm going to give you a bit of a break because I looked at your profile and
A. You're 15
B. You enjoy rap music
C. Two of your favorite movies are the Fast and the Furious movies.

But seriously. Your animation's all right, your spelling, punctuation, plot, and sense of humor need a lot of work.

By the way, you don't need to make it clear a hundred times that Tails is going out with Amy. I figured it out the first four times he said it within five seconds of one another.

Mind-numbingly amazing!

Way to catagorize every single kid out there who thinks he understands music by listening to "Hot Topic Emo." (I realize that some real emo is actually okay.) I saw your Hitler movie, and I was pleased to see that you did a whole movie on the emo kid. Emo is a totally underused subject for humiliation here at newgrounds, and I hope that someday you will find one of your movies on the front page of newgrounds.

I've seen that your movie has been getting low scores, so it is my personal mission to give this movie a 5 every day, until it gets at least a 2. Just like I'm going to try to drop the score of "Things that piss me off" (by some stupid angry kid)like a rock.

I thought I should watch some of your other movies, since you gave me such a kind response to a fairly rude review. I think you have lots of potential as a flash animator, just try to make sure to not overuse subjects

The peebles Project with philthemill aka kungfoophil, the marvin project with harry... and a couple more of my own that I am keeping to myself till i have done them because I don't know if I will ever finish them hehe.

What a cute children's story.

Except you suck at spelling.
Also, you gotta understand that marijuana use isn't the most hilarious thing since sliced bread. I mean, here at ng, it's about as overused as bad metallica songs at the end of submissions where the main character is a "bad ass pissed-off guy who kills people."
Next time, try a funnier subject for a bad children's like prostitutes or chewing tobacco.

Yeah... Not really.

It would probably be a good idea to make your animation funny or at least excessivly violent if it's going to have bad animation and an obnoxious song.
Other than that, good try. I bet you were up past midnight doing this one.
